So, after a year or so without having a proper blog on the website I am back. I didn’t restore the old archives because I wanted to start fresh. I was going to create a theme for the site but found this free one and decided to use it instead. I am sure the next one will be something orgional.
This time I have added visitor content with a whole bunch of different things, from domain ideas, free layouts and pixel images! No doubt I will also make more when I can find the time. <)
How is life? It’s pretty good at the moment really. I still care for my elderly grandfather (Poppy) after my grandmother (Nanna) was taken into a nursing home. It became a huge load on everyone, emotionally as well as psychically. I am still working on my books and also spending more time practicing art and enjoying it greatly. I am also concidering going back to school, but that prospect still scares me a little so I have to make sure I am ready. Just a smallish update for those who have not heard what has been happerning for a while.

You’re lucky that you can still take care of your grandfather. I only have one grandma in my Dad’s side left who is alive. I regret not getting to know them better before they passed away… 
On an unrelated note, I see that you are currently reading ‘Harry, A History’. What do you think of it so far? I have been thinking of picking it up for a while now but I’m not sure if it’s any good. :\

It’s amazing that you take care of your grandparents like that.
I only have one grandmother left, and she lives so far away I only see her once a year and barely know her at all.
Even if it must be difficult for you sometimes I can imagine it must be nice too to get to know them so well and being close

Eee, it’s so good to see you back in the blogging world; I was very sad when your old blog closed. And this layout is very cute. Can’t wait to see what you come up with, though. 
I hope that both of your grandparents are doing quite well, and I look forward to hearing more about them again.

It certainly is a lot of work taking care of older people or anyone really because you have to in some circumstances put yourself second and any ego you might have (I mean in terms of how you might normally do things in your own way).

I certainly take to heart every moment I am given with my grandparents and my parents and appreciate it so much. I am very close to this side of my family and we are a very close knit unit. It is wonderful to have so much love between few people and know we all care so deeply for each other. They used to care for me, how I return that favour.
I have finished the book and I really liked it! It was like walking back into the Harry Potter universe and reliving so many of the classic moments I think every big fan lived!
