I recently brought a number of cute little items I had to share. They are kind of simple, but make me smile. This entry is very image heavy.
There was once a girl who had a problem with stationary. Especially from a delightful store named Typo. There were just so many items that she adored that sometimes she would accidentally splurge and buy some pretty things. Yes, that girl was me.
Lots of pretty images ahead!
A Smiggle Accident
It’s no secret that I have a weak spot for cute things. However, I also have another weakness, stationary. Pens, pencils, journals, notepads, stickers, all the things! Now, if you combine cute and stationary together it’s an epic fusion of awesome. Smiggle is a store that does combine these things (and rainbows, with the way they organise their store stock). So.. I might have accidentally wondered into a store recently and brought a few things… >.<
This post is kind of image heavy (but they are cute images)
All the things
I have had a bag of things been sitting in my room for a while that I wanted to photograph and share. Some of these were given to me and others I brought myself. I wanted to share them because they are so cute. Beware this post may be picture heavy.
Christmas Ornaments. The middle one was a gift from mum and the others (two owls and cupcakes I brought from Big W).
Threadless has been tricky and had a $9 sale again. (I love them for their awesomeness, seriously I do). So, I had to buy a few shirts. Only eight this time, compared to the waaaay to many I brought last time. I did buy the piggy bank tee again as a gift for the Mummy who loved the design.
I also brought two new domains, tale.nu (will be for writing) and kitten.nu (domain connective). Now I just need to start working on them. 4_4
The last few days/week I have been feeling really blah. Very tired, sleepy, sick. Basically depressed. I have been thinking and dreaming about my Nanna a lot (who passed away in May 2010). I miss her so much. The fact I can never hug her again, and that the generations after me will never know her is such a huge shame. *sigh* I know they can know her through stories passed on, it’s just not the same as knowing someone.
I took Kitdung and Mogwai to the vet to be de-sexed. Everything went well, except for the fact that Mogwai is actually a boy not a girl ahahah. Fail. I really really thought he was a she. I’ve raised heaps of kittens over the years, but he was a sneaky little boy.
I have been slack with emails and just about everything online. It has been taking me a lot of energy to do anything which really sucks. The stupid internet connection I am using is driving me crazy. It sails a long at 11kbps (arrrrh) and likes to disconnect all the time. Grr.
I was going to get a Mac, it was kind of a spur of the moment thing because I have been wanting one for years (they are sexy). Mum and Dad talked me out of it (at least for now, har har). After thinking about it for a while, I think what I was really wanting was happiness not just a Mac. Because the idea of one opens the doors for happiness and delight. If I can find ways to bring some positives in, I might want a Mac less (or more? Bwahaha).
Hah, I brought more DVDs.

I had a lot of fun yesterday and spent more money then I had planned (I did say I would TRY… 4_4 ). I brought a whole bundle of really cute items that I plan to resell. I am not sure if I should do it via my blog or create a website for it. What do you think?
The images above show the items I brought. I had to break it into two images, because I did buy so much. Whoops. :0 I adore my Hello Kitty hat, it is just too cute and it is snuggly and warm! 3_3

Threadless is having another mighty $10 sale and I could not resist the pretty. I accidentally brought 20 4_4 it was a happy accident. Behold, the awesomeness that is the Threadless designers. 3_3
I have now finished babysitting and I have to admit I am relieved. It was starting to really become a huge effort and I had no time to do anything else. Now I can have some time back again. I also had a nice surprise today, Dad came home for the night. I haven’t seen him in about five weeks. His treatment is going well.
Threadless has a sale on this week with all shirts $12. Yep this was deadly, and I ended up spending $251 uh oh. But hey, I did get a whole heap of super awesome shirts that will (and do) make me smile! They are selling out pretty fast, so if you desperately want any of these I would BUY before it is too late. Unless you can wait for reprints, sometimes that takes years *sniff*
Today was icky, in that a brown snake was in my Poppy’s house (arrrrh!) I wasn’t there at the time but it has still freaked me out. The brown snakes are very dangerous and a bite from them can kill you, so you can imagine my alarm. My uncle got rid of that one, I just hope there is no more that come inside, it really is scary. *shudders* On top of that there has also been a lot of smoke around lately, there is a rather big fire in my area but thankfully it is some distance away so I should be safe. It still makes me nervous though.
The birds are going well! Bai Bai has some funny tricks like jumping on me and then my head and getting tangled in my hair. He/She has yet to poo in my hair but I just know that moment will come. She is growing so fast though and has already started to try and fly. For her sake I hope she can be free and enjoy the wonders of the word without being locked in a cage. We just have to wait and see, and find how she goes in the wild.
